The Collie subway tile is a deep forest green ceramic with a glossy zellige look, made in Spain and sized 65 x 200 mm. The slight variation across the glaze gives walls that handmade character, and the rich green suits kitchen splashbacks, bathroom walls and feature areas that need a bit of colour.
Where it works
Use it as a splashback behind the stove or sink, run it up a bathroom or laundry wall, or wrap it around a butler's pantry. The 65 x 200 mm brick format takes a classic running bond, a vertical stack or a herringbone layout, depending on the look you want.
A practical note
The tile is 10 mm thick and glazed for indoor wall use. Because the gloss finish catches the light and shows off the zellige movement, a contrasting grout will pick out each tile, while a close-toned grout keeps the wall calmer.
