About Square
Square tiles run from small mosaics to large floor formats, all sharing an even four-sided shape that lays out in neat grids or brick-stack patterns. They suit kitchen splashbacks, bathroom walls and floors, laundries and outdoor areas, and this range covers 123 tiles in porcelain and ceramic from Spain, Italy and Japan.
Sizes
The smallest here are mosaic squares like 23x23mm, 24.8x24.8mm and 48x48mm, usually supplied on mesh sheets for splashbacks and feature walls. Mid formats include 97x97mm, 100x100mm, 123x123mm, 132x132mm and 203x203mm, which work well on walls and smaller floors. For larger floors there is 200x200mm, 300x300mm and 600x600mm. Coverage is listed per box in m², so check the box quantity against your room size before you order.
Colours and finishes
Colours span White, Ivory, Beige and Grey through to Charcoal and Black, plus Green, Blue, Pink, Orange, Red and Brown for something with more colour. Finishes include Matt, Gloss, Honed, Polished and Textured, along with In/Out options rated for both indoor and outdoor use. A gloss glaze reflects more light in smaller rooms, while matt and textured surfaces hide marks and give more grip underfoot.
Materials and looks
You will find both porcelain and ceramic here. Porcelain is denser and harder wearing, which makes it the usual choice for floors and outdoor areas, while ceramic is a common pick for walls. Beyond plain squares, the range takes in Zellige-look and Japanese hand-glazed tiles with their gentle colour variation, plus Stone-look, Terracotta-look and Subway styles.
Choosing for floors and wet areas
Slip ratings on these tiles run from P2 up to P5, with some listed as Polished. Higher P numbers give more grip, so P4 and P5 suit wet bathroom floors and outdoor use, while lower ratings and polished surfaces are better kept to walls and dry areas. Each product page lists its rating.
Samples and showroom
Colour and finish can look different in your own light, so it helps to see a tile in the room before you commit. You can order up to five samples for $15, and that $15 is credited to your first order. If you would rather see the full size and feel the surface in person, our Sydney showroom is in Waterloo.
