About Grey Kitchen Splashback
Grey kitchen splashback tiles cover the wall behind your benchtop, cooktop and sink, where they take the splashes and wipe clean. This range holds 70 grey and grey-toned tiles in porcelain and ceramic, made in Italy and Spain, so you can match a look that sits well with timber, white or dark cabinetry.
Shapes and styles
The grey here runs across a lot of shapes. You will find subway and brick tiles, kit kat (finger mosaic) tiles, hexagons, squares and rectangles, plus crazy pave and terrazzo. There are looks that read as travertine, concrete, stone and zellige, along with encaustic-style patterns, so you can keep a splashback quiet or give it some texture.
Sizes
Formats range from small mosaic pieces around 12 x 92 mm and 48 x 48 mm through to classic subway sizes like 75 x 300 mm, mid formats such as 250 x 216 mm and 300 x 300 mm, and larger sheets including 300 x 600 mm, 600 x 600 mm, 600 x 1200 mm. Smaller pieces suit tight returns and detail work; larger tiles mean fewer grout lines across a long run.
Colours and finishes
Greys span cool through to warmer tones, with grey blue, blue grey, bone grey and beige also in the mix, plus some clear blues. Finishes include matt, gloss, polished, and grip options (Tech Grip and Grip), along with in/out tiles. Gloss lifts light in a darker kitchen; matt keeps things flatter and hides marks a little better.
Buying notes
Coverage is listed per box in m² on each product page, so work out your splashback area first, then add a little extra for cuts and offcuts. If you are deciding between a few greys, order up to five samples for $15, and that $15 is credited to your first order. Seeing a tile against your own benchtop and light beats guessing from a screen.
See them in person
If you would rather compare tiles side by side, visit our Sydney showroom in Waterloo. You can hold the different shapes, check how the gloss and matt finishes catch the light, and get a feel for size before you commit. Our team can talk you through what suits a splashback versus a full wall, and help you pick a grey that works with the rest of the kitchen.
