The Bourke Grey is a 600 x 600 mm porcelain floor tile with a matt finish and a soft terrazzo look printed across the face. The grey base with scattered fleck gives a lived-in, understated floor that works in kitchens, hallways, living areas and laundries.
Where it suits
With a P4 slip rating, this tile is rated for wet and outdoor use, so it carries through from an indoor floor to a bathroom, an alfresco area or around a pool without changing product. The 600 x 600 mm format keeps grout lines to a minimum across larger floors and reads as one continuous surface.
A note on laying
The terrazzo pattern varies from tile to tile, so it pays to dry-lay a few boxes together first and mix across cartons as you go. This spreads the fleck evenly and avoids any repeat clustering in one spot. A grey or neutral grout keeps the joins quiet against the pattern.
