The Tapp Terra is a Spanish porcelain subway tile in a warm terracotta red, with a matte finish and a slim 60 x 246 mm brick shape. It suits kitchen and bathroom walls, feature walls, and floors where you want that earthy, worn-clay look without the upkeep of real terracotta.

Where it works

This is a porcelain tile, so it holds up on floors as well as walls. With a P3 slip rating it can go on bathroom and kitchen floors, and it is also rated for commercial floors. On walls it reads well as a running bond splashback or a full feature wall.

Laying note

The long, narrow brick format looks best in a brick-bond layout. A contrasting grout will sharpen the lines; a tonal grout keeps the terracotta colour flowing across the wall.
