Sugiaya SMDR-3 Light Beige 3D Japanese Mosaic Tile

A light beige 3D mosaic made in Japan from matt porcelain, with each small piece measuring 23 x 92 mm. The raised surface catches the light softly, so it works well on feature walls, splashbacks and other vertical areas where you want texture without a lot of colour.

What it is

These are small porcelain mosaic pieces in a light beige tone with a matt finish. The tiles are 10 mm thick, and the 3D profile gives the wall a gentle relief rather than a flat face. The neutral colour sits comfortably with timber, stone and painted surfaces.

Laying and grout

Because it is a small-format mosaic, plan for plenty of grout lines and pick a grout colour that suits the beige, either close-toned for a quiet look or a shade darker to pick out the pattern. Being porcelain, the tile body does not need sealing; follow your grout maker's advice on the joints.
