Sugiaya SMDR-2 Beige Blend 3D Japanese Mosaic Tile

This is a Japanese-made porcelain mosaic in a soft beige blend, with small 23 x 92 mm pieces and a matt finish. The raised 3D surface catches light and shadow across the wall, which makes it a good pick for feature walls, splashbacks and other spots where you want some texture without a lot of colour.

Colour and format

The beige blend mixes warm neutral tones through the sheet, so no two areas look identical. Each piece is 23 x 92 mm and the tile is 10 mm thick.

Laying and grout

Small pieces mean plenty of grout lines, so the grout colour does a lot of the work here. A grout close to the beige tone keeps things soft, while a darker grout will pick out the shape of each piece and the 3D relief.
