The Slender SL-01 is a beige porcelain mosaic made in Japan, with slim 96 x 21 mm pieces set on 300 x 300 mm sheets. The matte, textured finish gives it a soft, tactile look that suits indoor walls and floors as well as outdoor walls.
Where it works
The narrow format and quiet beige tone make it easy to use across a lot of settings. Think kitchen splashbacks, bathroom and laundry walls, feature panels, and floors indoors. It is also rated for outdoor wall use, so you can carry the same texture from an indoor space out to a courtyard or entry wall.
Good to know
- Porcelain, 7 mm thick, in a matte finish.
- Supplied on 300 x 300 mm mesh sheets for quicker laying over larger areas.
- Line the sheets up carefully so the joins between them match the spacing within each sheet.
The textured surface holds grout in the joints, so wipe back while the grout is still workable and keep a clean sponge on hand.
