Sabi Charcoal is a handcrafted porcelain mosaic from Japan, made up of 45 x 195 mm rectangles in a deep charcoal with a matte finish. It suits indoor walls, bathroom walls and outdoor walls, so you can carry one look from an ensuite feature wall through to a covered alfresco area.

What you're getting

The tiles come on mesh-backed sheets measuring 250 x 400 mm, which keeps the small rectangles evenly spaced and speeds up laying across a larger wall. Each tile is 8 mm thick.

Laying note

A charcoal or dark grey grout keeps the joints quiet and lets the mosaic pattern read as one surface. A lighter grout will do the opposite and pick out every tile edge.
