Passo 31 is a Japanese porcelain mosaic in a gloss brown, made up of small 24.8 x 24.8 mm squares mounted on 300 x 300 mm sheets. The sheet format makes it a practical choice for feature walls, splashbacks and smaller detail areas where you want a fine grid of colour.

Laying notes
Because the tiles come pre-spaced on mesh-backed sheets, you set the sheets rather than each square, which keeps the spacing even and speeds up the job. Line up the gaps between sheets so the grout joints stay consistent across the whole surface. A small mosaic like this carries a lot of grout line, so pick a grout colour you're happy to see, since it does much of the visual work alongside the brown.
