Passo 11

Passo 11 is a white gloss porcelain mosaic made in Japan, with 24.8 x 24.8 mm square chips set on 300 x 300 mm mesh-backed sheets. The bright white colour and reflective gloss face make it a clean, light-catching choice for walls and splashbacks.

Where it suits

The small chip size works well on bathroom and kitchen walls, behind vanities and cooktops, and around feature areas where you want a fine grid of tiles rather than large formats. Because the mosaic comes on sheets, it can follow gentle curves and step-downs more easily than big tiles.

Laying and grout

The sheet layout gives you a lot of grout lines, so pick a grout colour with the finished look in mind: a white or pale grout keeps the surface soft and even, while a darker grout draws out each square. At 5.8 mm thick the tiles are light to handle and set neatly across a prepared, level substrate.
