The Hatsu Long Brick is a hand-glazed Japanese porcelain tile in a slim brick shape, measuring 47.5 x 304 mm with a glossy face. It works on indoor walls, bathroom walls and outdoor walls, so you can carry one look from a splashback through to a courtyard.
Where it suits
The long brick format reads like a stretched subway tile, which gives kitchens, laundries and bathrooms a bit more horizontal length than a standard rectangle. Being hand-glazed, each tile carries small shifts in tone and surface, so a finished wall has depth rather than a flat, printed look.
