Ellerston Black Rustic Brick Look Tile 60 x 250mm
Pre-order · dispatched as soon as stock lands
The Ellerston Black is a 60 x 250mm porcelain tile with a rustic brick look and a matt black finish. Its slim brick shape suits feature walls, kitchen splashbacks and floors where you want the texture of laid brickwork without the depth of real masonry.
Where it works
The narrow format takes well to a running bond (offset) layout, the same pattern you see in traditional brick walls. It works behind a stove, across a laundry or hallway wall, or as a floor in an entry or courtyard-style space. The deep black colour reads as a strong backdrop, so pair it with lighter joinery and fittings if you don't want the whole area to feel dark.
Practical note
Grout colour makes a big difference with a brick-look tile. A charcoal or dark grey grout keeps the joins quiet and the surface looking like one wall; a paler grout picks out each brick and lifts the pattern. Decide the effect you want before you order the grout.
