The Bourke Charcoal is a 600 x 600 mm porcelain tile with a matt finish and a terrazzo look, where lighter flecks scatter across a deep charcoal base. It works on floors and walls, and suits kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and open living areas.
Where it suits
The dark background hides everyday marks well, which makes it a practical choice for busy floors and entry areas. Terrazzo look patterning also disguises minor dust and crumbs between cleans, so it earns its place in kitchens and laundries. On walls it holds up in bathrooms and behind benches.
Laying and grout
At 600 x 600 mm the tile covers ground quickly and keeps grout lines to a minimum across larger rooms. A mid to dark grey grout tends to blend with the charcoal base and settles the speckled surface, while a lighter grout lifts the flecks and draws out the pattern. Pick the tone to match the look you want.
